Paul Frederick Besancon, 88, a native of Stryker, Ohio and resident of Houma, La., died at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012.
Mr. Besancon was a member of Coteau Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Rachel Besancon; brothers, William and Richard Besancon; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Besancon; parents, Paul Napoleon and Lena Besancon; brothers, Harry Charles, Robert and infant Besancon; and sister, Ella Besancon.
Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Falgout)
