Paul J. Brunet, 86, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25. 2011.
Mr. Brunet was a retired employee of Mobil Oil Corporation. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Velma Brunet; sons, Melvin, Tony and Dennis Brunet and Dennis Taylor; daughters, Jackie Taylor, Harriet Green, Janice and April Brunet and Connie Barbier; 27 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ocelia Brunet; parents, Camille and Lorena Brunet; son, Wayne Taylor; daughter, Jeanine LeBlanc; brother, Wilfred Brunet; sisters, Cecile Bonvillian, Lena and Eta Neal, Sylvia Brunet and Naise Theriot; and grandson, Seth Aucoin.
Burial was at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
