Pearl C. Rogers, 84, a native of Gretna, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2010.


She is survived by her sons, Larry and Ricky Rogers; daughter, Connie Sanchez; sister, Bonnie Tavarez; 10 grandchildren, Larry Rogers Jr., Doug, Travis and Trudy Cancienne, Melissa Labat, Lisa Brown, Rachel Usey, Cassey Nickolson, Kiley Swab and Jimmy Rogers Jr.; 17 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany and Courtney Brown, Tara Ricks, Skyler Papa, Heather Martinez, Mason Usey, Meagan Pitre, Kane, Braxton and Paisley Rogers, Rae Lyn Cancienne, Josh Landry, Austin Nickelson and Breanna, Logan and Collon Swab; and four great-great-grandchildren, Cameron Martin, Riley and Carson Chiasson and Layton Dupre.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Rogers; two sons, Terry and Jimmy Rogers; and two great-granddaughters, Ray Lynn Rogers and Kindsey Cancienne.

She is buried at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
