Pearlie Theriot Champagne, 100, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Monday, April 25, 2011.


Mrs. Champagne was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland.


She is survived by her sons, Franklin, Herbert, Hubert, Clarence, Cleveland and Gerald Champagne; daughter, Debra Fields; sisters, Bessie Labat and Rita Bourgeois; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Champagne; parents, Alceste and Aldolphine Theriot; one son, Junius Joseph Champagne; two daughters, Mary Soudelier and Theresa Champagne; four brothers, Thomas, Adam, Joe and Charlie Theriot; and two sisters, Eve Pertuit and Mary Louise Guidry.

She is buried at St. Mary Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
