Pearly Berry Edmond, 93, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Saturday, June 11, 2011.
Mrs. Edmond was a member of St. Phillip Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, praying and gospel music.
She is survived by her daughters, Lucille (Roy) Mitchell and Estelle Blackledge; 12 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Edmond; parents, Martha and Gus Berry; sister, Josephine Marshall; brothers, Gus Jr., Glendon Sr. and Onster Berry; and grandchild, Royal Mitchell Jr.
Burial was at St. Mark Baptist Church Cemetery in Labadieville. (Williams & Southall)
