Peggy Ann Pontiff Vice, 44, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 3:19 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at 3:19 pm.
Mrs. Vice was a member of Living Word Church. She was a teacher with the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She held a bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education with a reading specialist certification.
She is survived by her husband, Dickie Vice; mother, Bernice Labit Pontiff of Houma; sons, Justin of New York, N.Y., and Matthew Vice of Houma; daughter, Alison LeBoeuf of Houma; brothers, Junius Charles “J.C.” (Judy) of Hudson, Fla., and Reggie (Laura) Pontiff of Houma.
Preceded in death by her father, Junius C. Pontiff Sr.; and daughter, Abby Vice.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, and from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday, Feb. 6, at Chauvin Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at noon Saturday at the funeral home.
She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
