Percy Joseph Sanchez, 90, a resident of Napoleonville, La., died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013.
Mr. Sanchez was a World War II veteran. He was very active in the St. Elizabeth Church community as an usher and member of the church council. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his daughters, Chris Torres, Emily Meyer, Debbie Newchurch and Janell Gussman; son, Dwayne Sanchez; sisters, Eunice Fairchild, Elsie Medine, Shirley Fremin and Ann Himel; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Sanchez; parents, Omer and Delia Sanchez; brothers, Linas, Ulysse, T.J. and Fred Sanchez; sister, Ruby Holtrop; and two grandchildren.
Entombment is at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Mausoleum in Paincourtville, La. (Ourso)
