Percy Martin Sr.

Percy Thomas Martin Sr., 75, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010.

Mr. Martin was a veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his companion, Annie Hebert; sons, Trinity Martin and Percy (Priscilla) Martin Jr.; daughters, Anna Mae (Hilton) Chaisson, Luella (Moises Chacon) Martin, Sophia (Frank) Kempf and Trina Doiron; brothers, David and Michael Martin; sisters, Elaine Terrebonne, Yvonne Duet, Alma LeBouef, Rosabell Prosperie and Sherry Martin Malbrough; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustache and Alice Roddy Martin; daughter, Lawana Martin; brothers, Russell and Ronnie “T-Boy” Martin; and sisters, Jane Ellender and June Martin.

He is buried at Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
