Pierre A. LeBlanc, 70, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died at 4:40 a.m. July 2, 2014.

Mr. LeBlanc was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He served in the United States Marine Corp during peacetime, and worked for Tennessee Gas Pipeline Co. for 31 years until his retirement. Mr. LeBlanc was an avid Harley Davidson rider, and a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kaye LeBlanc; son, Shane LeBlanc; daughters, Shannon and Sunny (fiancé Anouda Lirette) LeBlanc; sister, Susanne LeBlanc; and one grandson.


Mr. LeBlanc’s parents, P.A. Sr. and Ruby Norris LeBlanc, preceded him in death.

The LeBlanc family extends a special thanks to Drs. Brian Matherne, Peter Fail and Don Gervais, as well as Heritage Manor and St. Catherine’s Hospice for their care.

Donations may be made in Mr. LeBlanc’s name to St. Catherine’s Hospice.


Burial is at Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.
