December 22, 2011Ralph Joseph Trosclair Jr., 73, a native of Bourg, La., and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., died at 12:15 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2011.
Mr. Trosclair was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and scenic trips. He was a member of the American Legion, the Shriners and the Veteran Legion of America.
He is survived by his companion, Barbara Scott; son, Thomas (Cheryl) Trosclair; stepsons, Will and Eric Schober; daughters, Marcia (Louis Jr.) Ellender and Melissa (Artie) Rogers; stepdaughters, Sharon Chatagnier, Margie Bourdier, Helen Blanchard and Beth Sisk; brothers, Jerry and Druby (Kay) Trosclair; sisters, Mary Breaux and Odessa Blanchard; seven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Trosclair; parents, Ralph Sr. and Natalie Trosclair; and brother, Michael Trosclair. (Samart)
