God welcomed Ralph Joseph Parr, age 92 years, into his arms on Wednesday May 9, 2018.
A graveside burial will be held for close family.
A lifelong resident of Houma, Louisiana, Ralph was a devoted husband and father. He was married 69 ½ years to his sweetheart, Joan Lapeyrouse Parr, who survives him. He is also survived by sons, Carroll John and wife Donna, Robert James and wife Connie and David Alan and wife Angela Parr, daughter: Anne Mary Parr, sister: Frances Marie Parr, brother, James Gilbert Parr, loving grandchildren: Chadwick Michael Parr, Christine Elizabeth Parr-Vitter, Michael James Parr, Lexie Lydie Parr, Alaina Marie Parr, and Joseph David Parr and Trever Hebert, and great-grandchildren: Austin Parr, Elizabeth Vitter, Kate Parr and Katherine Parr.
He managed Lapeyrouse Auto Parts for more than 40 years where he made lifelong friends and helped many people with his generous spirit. He proudly served his country during World War II aboard the USS Dixie in the South Pacific.
