Randy James Vaughn, 36, a native of Morgan City, La., died Friday, March 16, 2012.
Mr. Vaughn’s world revolved around his family. He was the best father hands down, a husband that no one could ever compare to and a fun-loving, truth-giving friend. He had a deep respect and a strong faith in God. He was a machinist by trade but was a jack of all trades who always put all of his effort into everything he did.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Hope Vaughn; children, Alyssa, Kelsey and Riley Vaughn; mother, Becky (Kenny) Dunham; father, Byron (Donna) Fontenot; adoptive father, Karl Vaughn; grandparents, Eunice Gibson and Carol and Belle Fontenot; and siblings: Joey Vaughn, Valerie Thompson and Chasiti and Dayton Dunham.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
