Raphael P. ”RAY” Collins, 77, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was a native of Dulac, LA and a resident of Houma, LA.
Raphael is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Laura Cecile Courteaux Collins; sons, John Solet and Companion Julie Arhend, Ronnie Cunningham, and Kenneth and wife Cursarah Tyler; daughters, Angel and husband Darnell Smith, Kelly and husband John De Coursey; brothers Gerald, Kimple and Aloysius Collins; sisters, Sylvia Collins, Elaine Christoffersen, Sonja Babin; grandchildren, India, Bre and Ava Smith, Nevaeh Cunningham, Lorelie and John James “J.J” Solet, Tyler and Brandon DeCoursey , Kenneth Tyler Jr. and Kimberly Tyler; and two great grandchildren, Keegan and Keeston Smith.
Raphael was a salesman in the Oilfield Industry. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed cooking. He also loved to spend time with his many friends and family.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt and special thanks to Dr. Mark Walker and Haydel Memorial Hospice.
