Ray Adam Istre, a native of Lake Arthur, La., and resident of Larose, La., died Thursday, March 8, 2012.
He is survived by his son, Timmy (Janet) Istre; daughter, Jill (Carl) Duplantis; brother, Raymond Istre; sisters, Mernie Hill, Martha Broussard and Daisy Guillote; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Melissa Istre; brothers, Harris, Wilfred, Joe and Nelton Istre; and sisters, Mayola Watts, Beverly Desormeaux and Thelma Comeaux. (Samart-Mothe)
