Council restricts multi-colored tombs
January 23, 2012Raymond Joseph Clark, 64, a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012.
Mr. Clark was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Dulac, La. He loved and cared for his family extremely well. He also loved and cared for his church family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Clark; son, Raymond Jr. (Jamie) Clark; daughters, Brandy Clark and April (Jacob) Pinell; brothers, Michael (Rose) Linton and Perry Barrios; sisters, Rebecca (Jess Jr.) Melancon and Sherry (Randy) Overton; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Jr. and Velma Barrios; stepmother, Theresa Barrios; grandparents, Ozea Guidry and Olympia Barrios; and step-grandmother, Horterse Lombas.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, and 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
