Raymond Joseph Tassin, 71, a native of Hammond, La., and a resident of Pontchatoula, La., died Sunday, November 2, at 9:08 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann La Scala Tassin; step-sons, Donald and wife Karen St. Germain and Mark and wife Deborah St. Germain; daughter, Marjorie and husband Randy Herbert; step-daughter, Karen McKinnan; brother, Eugene Tassin Sr. and wife Freida; grandsons, Randy Herbert and Raymond Herbert; seven step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Tassin; and parents, Phil and Lelah Mayeaux Tassin.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Association 0323 in Pontchatoula. He was a ham radio operator and member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 5, at St. Bernadette Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery II.
