Raymond Peter LeBoeuf, 69, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, August 3.


He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy Matherne LeBouef; six daughters; Sister Charlotte LeBouef, MSC, Myra Thomas and husband Mickey Thomas, Sister Charlotte LeBouef, MSC, Ruby LeCompte and husband Kelvin LeCompte, Sharon Brunet and husband Jerome Brunet, and Elaine Biggs and husband Robert Biggs Jr.; two sons; Timothy LeBouef and wife Shelly LeBouef, Michael LeBouef and wife Lisa LeBouef; three sisters; Carmen Bonvillian, Elenor Trahan and Harriet Liner; one brother, Claude LeBouef; and eight grandchildren, Douglas Thomas, Joshua LeCompte, Katie LeCompte, Shawn Brunet, Heather Brunet, Robin Biggs, Brandon LeBouef and Brynn LeBouef.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Irby LeBouef; two sisters, Antoinette LeBlanc and Virginia DeHart; and one grandchild, Cameron LeBouef.

He was an Ordained Deacon in the Catholic Church since May 18, 1996. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He was a self-employed building contractor.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
