Common Core opponents rally ahead of La. session

Raymond Price Jr., 62, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014.
Mr. Price was employed as a cement finisher. He was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Price; special friend, Elizabeth Johnson; sons, Raymond and James Price; daughter, Denise Price; brothers, James, and Phillip Price; sister, Brenda Johnson; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jerry Lee Price; and sister, Eunice Hart.
Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Community Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Corner Stone Cemetery. (Community)
