March 7, 2011Reginald Daniel Boudreaux, 78, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011.
He retired from Texaco where he worked as a production foreman and was a parishioner of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. He served in the National Guard and was a sergeant in the Marines during the Korean War, where he received the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal. He was a member of the Dularge Hunting Club and the Terrebonne Sportsmans League.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Pellegrin Boudreaux; sons, Todd (Debra), Lee (Kimberly), and Marvin Boudreaux; five grandchildren, Marc, Jared, Jennifer, Tiffany and Angelle Boudreaux; one great-grandchild, Alex Boudreaux; and sisters, Rhea Scott and Marion Boquet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Lucille Plaisance Boudreaux; daughter, Leslie Boudreaux; son, Mark Boudreaux; and brother, Earl Boudreaux.
He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.
