Rena Ann Mott Bouffanie, 59, a native of Lake Charles, La. and resident of Cut Off, La. died Monday, October 8, 2007, at 11:02 a.m.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest J. Bouffanie, Jr.; two sons, John and Kenneth Bouffanie; four daughters, Ann Miller, Elizabeth Griffin, Josephine Baker, and Katie Lee; two brothers, David and Richard Mott; two sisters, Carolyn Dardar and Margaret Guidry; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Taah Marie Mott; two sons, Joey Bouffanie and Timmy Bouffanie; and one brother, Clifton Mott, Sr.

Rena a devout Christian and was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. She enjoyed crocheting and studying her bible. She was a homemaker.

Visitation is Thursday, October 11, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Christian Fellowship Church. She will be buried in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
