Rena Breaux Watts, 86, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died at her home Thursday, April 29, 2010.

Mrs. Watts worked at St. Mary’s Nativity school as a librarian. She enjoyed dining with friends, reading, attending plays and debating politics.


She is survived by daughters, Jackie Jackson, Karen (Pete) LeBoeuf, Katherine “Sue Sue” (Eric) Bollinger, Melanie (Billy) Barker and Wendy (Michael) Phillips; daughter-in-law, Shirley Watts; sons, Christopher, Donald (Judy) and Wayne Watts; son-in-law, Bryan Dagenhardt; 29 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Donations can be made to St. Mary’s Nativity School or St. Jude’s Research Center in lieu of flowers.

Mrs. Watts is buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery.
