Renailder Clark, Sr., 89, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Baton Rouge, La., died Monday, July 23, 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Lena Clark; four sons, Sidney Davis and his wife Gloria, Shannon Clark and his wife Robin Morgan, Leon and Renailder Clark, Jr.; four daughters, Barbara Clark, Devinua Boutte and her husband Warren, Schawanna Clark and her husband Dumon, and Felicia Clark; two brothers, Henry and Osbone Clark, Jr., four sisters, Jimmie Anderson, Jesse Morehead, Nina Johnson, and Daisy Johnson; 13 grandchildren; and three grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Osbone and Doralee Clark, Sr.; one son, Terry Clark; one brother, Sylvester Clark; and two sisters, Helen Clark and Closeal Watson.

Renailder was a devout Baptist and served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver.

Visitation is Friday, July 27, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with the funeral to follow at Community Funeral Home in Houma. He will be buried at Southdown Cemetery in Houma.

Community Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
