Rev. Grant Hill, 84, a native of Lafourche Parish, La., and a resident of Gheens, La., died Sunday, Nov. 05, 2006.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Raceland, La.
The religious service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at the Church. Burial will be held in Sunlight Baptist Church Cemetery in Gheens, La.
He is survived by his wife, Ivory Hill of Gheens; one son, Larry D. Hill Sr. of Boutte; one adopted daughter, Michelle Hill of Metarie; four grandchildren, Larry Hill Jr., Carmalessia Hill, Latranda Hill, and Grace Hill, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Hill Sr and Violia Hill; one brother, Dave Hill Jr., and one sister, Orelia Williams.
He was the Pastor of Sun Light Baptist Church in Gheens, La. His hobbies included fishing.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of arrangements.
