Rev. Percy D. Washington, 63, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of New Orleans, La., died Thursday, May 21.

He is survived by his former spouse, Judean M. Washington; daughter, Bianca Washington; sons, Percy Washington Jr., Keith Washington and wife Brandi, and Jason Washington, all of Gretna, La.; sister, Celina Henry of Algiers, La.; step-sister, Charlene W. Hewitt of Ewellville, La.; step-brothers, Edward Washington of New Orleans, Michael Washington of Gonzales, La., David Washington of Klotzville, La., Daniel Washington of Ewellville, Brian Washington of Baton Rouge, La., and Roynell Washington of Marrero, La.; and three grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Edward Washington Sr. and Mary S. Evans; step-mother, Margaret Washington; and step-sister, Monica W. Meads.

Burial was at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
