Rhoda Mayea Boudreaux, 62, a native and resident of Franklin, La., died at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012.

Mrs. Boudreaux was a very loving and generous person who always put other’s needs before her own. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Assumption Hand Bell Choir, the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel and was an avid reader. She will be deeply missed.


She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Richard Boudreaux; Emmie (Chad) Forestier; siblings, Nora (Herman) Jones, Elaine (Tommy) Savoie, Byron (Cindy) and Chad (Andrea) Mayea and Melissa (Clyde) LeBlanc; and grandsons, Trent and Sean Forestier.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Joyce Mayea; and sister, Shelly Mayea.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 6, and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Ibert’s Mortuary. Mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Assumption with burial at Franklin Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
