Richard Paul Autin, Jr., 60, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Denham Springs, LA, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on May 11, 2018.


Paul was a kind and generous man who will be deeply missed by his family, friends and church community. He was a loving husband and took tremendous pride in making everyone feel welcome and comfortable in his home. He had a long, successful career in the food services industry. Paul was an active member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Baton Rouge, where he enjoyed cooking meals in fellowship with his church community.

He is survived by his husband and the love of his life for 34 years, Anthony “Tony” Babin; daughter Melissa Autin; grandchildren Cole and Sophie; brothers: Michael Autin and his partner Polly Meyer, Malcolm Autin and his wife Donna, Brian Autin and his wife Julie; sister Dawn Autin Dupre and her wife Megan; sister-in-law Susan Duet and her husband Archie; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Paul’s legacy of kindness and friendship will live on in the hearts of all those he has touched throughout his lifetime.
