Richard Benton Peltier, 69, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, August 3, 2007.
He is survived by one sister, Bernice P. Harang; two brothers, Donald L. Peltier and wife, Grace, and James R. Peltier and wife, Ann; one sister-in-law, Irma “Mickey” G. Peltier; 11 nieces; and 12 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Peltier Sr. and May Ayo Peltier; one brother, Harvey Peltier Jr.; and one brother-in-law, Warren J. Harang Jr.; three nieces; and three nephews.
Visitation is Monday August 6, 2007, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. He will be buried in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Mass be said or donations to the charity of choice.
Landry’s Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
