Richard Taylor Sr., 49, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Sulphur, La., died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014.
Mr. Taylor was an engineer and a member of Israelite Baptist Church.
He is survived by his father, Sidney Taylor Sr.; son, Richard Taylor Jr.; daughters, Cristina Allan and LaShala and Latoya Green; brothers, Sidney Jr. and David Taylor; and sisters, Shirley Robinson, Nona Rogers, Evelina Cormier, Debra Johnson and Diana Billard.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Taylor; and brother, Ronald Taylor.
Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Community Funeral Home with services to follow. (Community)
