Ricky Smith, 55, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Thursday, March 17, 2011.
He is survived by his brothers, Alcide Jr. (Katherine “Lainee”), Ernest (Anna Lou), Jimmy, Carlton Sr. (Jodie), Randall and Mark (Janice); sisters, Jeanette Andrews, Juanita (Allen) Eskine, Gloria Johnson, Elaine (Murphy) Marie, Rosemary (L.J. Gary) Foret, Lillian (Gerald) Robichaux, Patrica (Jan Hebert) Gary and Kathy (Robert Sr.) Dupre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide Sr. and Juliette Bergeron Smith; four brothers, Norman, Clark, Gary and Rudy; and one sister, Sylvia Chauvin.
He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Chauvin. (Samart)
