Bond Commission settles on scoring system for GO Zone projects

Rita “Mona Rita” Alario, 85, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Golden Meadow died Thursday September 20, 2007, at 4:30 p.m.

She was survived by her two daughters, Carol Sue Griffin and Cola Freeman and her companion Steve Carter; two sister, Elsie Hebert and Cora Hernandez; 10 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Natilus Alario, Jr.; her parents, Notilio and Celeste Gisclair Hebert; one son Carlos Alario; three brothers, Cleveland, Natalie, and Gaston Hebert; and three sisters, Louise Danos, Nola Esponge, and Rose Hebert.

Rita was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. She was a 44-year employee of The Lady of the Sea Hospital. She was loved to fish, gamble, and bowl.

The body was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
