July 18, 2011Rita Bernard DuBois, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, July 14, 2011.
Mrs. DuBois was a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
She retired with Sears. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to bake and travel.
She is survived by her sons, Remuis (Marian), and Hewitte (Myrna) DuBois; daughters, Edna (Eldon) Freeman and Carroll (Hulett) Evans; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis DuBois; parents, Edmond and Laramita Bernard; brother, Thaddeus Bernard; and great-grandchild, Jamie DuBois.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, July 18, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Chauvin)
