Rita Brown Von Senden, 86, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, February 5, 2008, at 7:40 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Von Senden of Houma; daughters, Vicki Hebert and husband, David, of Houma, and Rita Gaither of Sherman, Tx.; sisters, Doris Picou and Daisy Riley of Houma; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Edward Brown and Daisy Boudreaux Brown; sons, Michael Von Senden and Terry Von Senden; and brother, Marshall “Mickey” Brown.
Rita was a retired payroll clerk with the City of Houma and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, February 07, 2008, and 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2008, at Chauvin Funeral Home followed by a prayer service Friday in the funeral home chapel. She will be buried in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
