Robena Rita Pertuit Duplantis, 82, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016.
Mrs. Duplantis was a parishioner of St. Gregory Parish and a lifetime member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She was a loving mother who enjoyed gardening, cooking, singing and dancing.
She is survived by her son, Thomas (Darla) Duplantis; daughters, Jean (Bill) Lake, Donna (Frank) Duet and Christa (Charles) Duplantis-Prather; four grandchildren and one step-grandson; one step-great-grandson; sister, Doris (Marvin) Hoob; and sisters-in-law, Rita and Betty Pertuit and Earline Pertuit Pitre.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
