Robert “Bobby” Emile Arsenaux Sr., 70, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007.


Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.


He is survived by his wife, Edita Falgout Arsenaux; one son, Robert “Bobby” Arsenaux Jr.; four daughters, Donna Liner and husband, Duane, Dawn Mitchell and husband, Gary, Darlene Borne and husband, Jason, and Regina Rudolf and husband, Michael; two sisters, Barbara Shelly and Linda Boudloche; and 11 grandchildren, Paige Liner, Cassidy Liner, Peyton Liner, Beau Mitchell, Allie Mitchell, Jason Borne Jr., Grace Borne, Brice Arsenaux, Karley Arsenaux, Noelle Rudolf and Hayden Rudolf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gertrude and George W. Arsenaux; three brothers, George W., Randolph and Eugene Arsenaux; and one sister, Trudy Boudloche.

“Babe” was an employee of SMATCO for 24 years and was a machinist. He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all.

He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
