Robert Lee Anthony Bergeron Sr., 83, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La. and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:42 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2007.
He is survived by one son, Roy J. Bergeron Sr. of Houma; three daughters, Nancy Naquin and husband, Paul Sr., Susan Bergeron of Houma and Virginia Bergeron and companion, Chris, of Theriot, La.; one brother, Joseph Nelson Bergeron Jr. of Houma; two sisters, Mary Porche and Euna Mae Champagne of Houma; 18 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Portier Bergeron; his parents, Joseph N. Bergeron and Cecile Stevens Bergeron; two sons, Robert “Bobby” Bergeron Jr. and Phillip C. Bergeron Sr.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was a retired grocery storeowner and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
