Robert “Bobby” Paul Aycock, 67, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Dularge, La., died Tuesday, October 14.


He is survived by his wife, Victoria Walker Aycock of Dularge; his mother, Ruth Aycock Zappa of Dularge; four daughters, Dominique and husband Bryan Peace of Austin, Tx., Renee and husband Chris Brackin of Houston, Tx., Andree and husband William Woodard of Baton Rouge, La., and Simone and husband Shane Willis of Dularge; one sister, Sarah and husband Jake Walker of Houma; and four grandchildren, Morgan and Brennan Peace and Reid Brackin and Amelia Willis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gaston Paul Aycock; and his stepfather, Peter Zappa.


He was the owner of Highridge Supermarket, a member of St. Eloi Knights of Columbus, a past board of director of SLECA and a U.S. Army veteran. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Manresa Retreat Center, P.O. Box 89, 5858 Louisiana Hwy. 44, Convent, La., 70723. Donations to the blood bank would also be greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, October 17, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
