Local teenager was a true hero, always fought the good fight

January 16, 2012Robert Eugene Pitre, 43, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012.
Mr. Pitre was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church and an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting with his sons. He loved spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Pitre; sons, Tyler and Tayler Pitre; brothers, Michael Jr. and Christopher (Kim) Pitre; sister, Jeanette (Scott) Robichaux; and grandfather, Allen Brown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Pitre Sr.; and grandparents, Alta Brown and Hazel and James Pitre.
Burial was at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
