Robert “Sherman” James, 69, a native of Brookhaven, Miss., and resident of Houma, La., died at 7:25 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012.
Mr. James was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from Tetra Applied Technology.
He is survived by his wife, Betty James; mother, Dorothy Parnell; sons, Dennis (Amy), Jerry (Karen) and Tony Hall and Keith James; daughters, Wendy Bergeron and Cindy James; brothers, Charles Ray, Douglas and Roland James; sister, Patricia Reese; stepbrothers, Bryant and Phillip Parnell; four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and five step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, A.G. James; son, Mike Hall; brother, Jack James; and stepfather, James Parnell. (Falgout)
