Robert “Bob” Joseph Pellegrin Sr., 68, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Dulac, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010.


Mr. Pellegrin was a retired welder for the oil field industry, served in the US Navy, was a former member of the Masonic Temple and a Shriner, and thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing, serving as a fishing guide in his later years.


He is survived by his children, Terry Pellegrin, Lydia P. King, Michelle (Robert) P. Palmer, Robert (Jennifer) Pellegrin Jr., Sandra (David) Goss Dietsch, and Larry (Diana) and David (Connie) Goss; 21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Lydia Henry Pellegrin; two sisters, Wilda Bonvillain and Janet Roundtree; and one son, Thomas Randall Goss Pellegrin.

In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred or a donation to your favorite charity.
