Roberta Marie Mouton Atkinson, 66, a native of Melville, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, July 29, at 8:02 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Atkinson of Houma; one son, Shannon Atkinson and wife Jennifer of Thibodaux, La.; two daughters, Sheila Atkinson and Sandra Beattie and husband Lynn of Houma; one brother, Billy Jules Mouton of Opelousas, La.; three sisters, Irene Richard and husband Emic, Geraldine Walley and Faye Wood and husband Kenneth; and five grandchildren Christopher Authement, Brandi Beattie, Heidi Beattie, Austin Beattie and Nathan Atkinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules Dominique Mouton and Lilly Menard Mouton; and brother-in-law, Gaddis Walley.
She was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, August 1, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at Chauvin Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Garden of Memories Park.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
