Roberta Mary Scott

Roberta Mary Scott, 91, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2011.

Mrs. Scott was an avid gardener who also enjoyed coffee, camping, boating, fishing, dancing, shopping and the outdoors. She was a goodhearted person who was a caregiver to her family and friends and would often give advice to those who needed her. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.

She is survived by her sons, Jesse (Betty) and Henry Scott Jr.; daughter, Linda LeBoeuf; sister, Jeanette Morrow; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Scott; parents, Edgar and Mathilda Boudwin; son, Gerald Scott; daughter, Diana Breaux; brothers, Edgar Jr., Gelpi, Warner, Nolan, Ray and Percy Boudwin; and sisters, Roseabel Liner and Florence Hebert.

Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
