Roger “Jay” Rebstock, 77, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 8:24 a.m. Wednesday, November 5.


He is survived by his wife, Amelia Smith Rebstock; two sons, Toby Rebstock and wife Celeste and Todd Rebstock; one sister, Virginia Loupe; three grandchildren, Kristy, Chelsea and Amber Rebstock; and three great-grandchildren, Kobe and Ally Arceneaux and Emmie Rebstock.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Bussie Rebstock and Avilia St. Pierre Rebstock; and one grandson, Jake Rebstock.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and Army National Guard veteran and was a lifetime volunteer fireman. He was retired from Halliburton.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, November 7, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow with mass to follow. He will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
