Ronald “Ronnie” Scott, 40, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Oct. 28, 2006.


Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at Community Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Living Gospel Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Luke Cemetery in Waterproof.


Mr. Scott is survived by Geretha McGuin and her children; his parents, Clarence Scott Sr. and wife (Paulette), and Virginia Wood Ross and husband (Joseph); stepsons: Khari LeBlanc and Patrick Stewart of Houma, La.; daughters: Ronnikinia Calloway and Ron’na Scott of Houma, La.; brothers: Clarence (Betty) Scott Jr.. Randolph (Phyllis) Scott, Melvin Scott, Keon Jackson, Travelle Scott, all of Houma, La., and Cory (Erin) Williams of LaPlace, La.; sisters: Carolyn Scott Henry, Geraldine Scott and Patricia (Bruce) Harding of Houma, La.; and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lillie Calloway Woods, and parternal grandparents, Aurustile and Pinkie Aitkens Scott.

Born Nov. 20, 1965, Mr. Scott was of the Baptist faith.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
