Ronnie L. “Bird” Rome Sr., 50, a native of Modeste, La. and resident of Plaquemine, La. died as the result of an automobile accident Monday, October 15, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Ennis Rome; one son, Ronnie Rome, Jr.; four brothers, Henry, Donald, Edward Rome III, and Roger Rome; one sister, Glory Bell; two grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ida Rome; and one brother, James Rome.
Ronnie was a security guard with Blue Print Protection Services.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Donaldsonville, La. is in charge of the arrangements.
He is buried in Grace Memorial Park in Plaquemine.
