Rosa Mae Rozine Benoit, 86, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, April 11, 2014.
Mrs. Benoit was a loving mother, grandmother and great friend. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, working in the garden and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Allen (Helen), Brad, Roland (Joyce) and Harold Benoit and Nancy (Gerard) Knight; sister, Mable Thibodaux; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Benoit; parents, John and Melodia Rozine; brothers, Roland, Johnny and Oleus Rozine; sisters, Elizabeth Oncale and Rose Boudreaux; and one grandchild.
A visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
