Rosalie M. Bascle, 67, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 16.
She is survived by her husband, Elmo J. Bascle Jr.; her mother, Hilda Eschete; sons, Eric Duplantis and wife, Christy, Warren Duplantis and wife, Laura, Dwayne Duplantis and wife, Cindy, and Jason Keller and wife, Louise; stepsons, Elmo Bascle III and wife, Carie, Tommy Bascle and Todd Bascle; daughter, Sharan Collins and husband, Tom Jr.; stepdaughters, Lynette Lovell and husband, Tony, and Lynn Bascle; brothers, Charles, Gary and John Eschete; sisters, Deborah Hotard and Iris Bergeron; 25 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Magnus Eschete Sr.; stepson, Timmy Bascle; and brothers, Calvin Eschete and Magnus Eschete Jr.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, La. with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
