Rose B. Ledet, 83, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Sunday, Aug. 16, at 12:45 a.m.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lloyd J. Ledet Sr.; one son, Lloyd J. “Buster” Ledet Jr. and wife Debbie; one daughter, Jeanette B. Hebert and husband Lanson Hebert Jr.; one brother, Newton “Toot” Bergeron; one sister, Joyce McCardile; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Viola Bergeron; one son, Louie Ledet; one daughter, Diane Ledet Vegas; and one brother, Edward Bergeron.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was a member of the Women’s International Bowling Congress.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La., with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
