Rose Mary Gilton, 66, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Saturday, May 17.
She is survived by her son, Bryant Gilton and wife Penelope of Thibodaux, La.; brother, Rev. David Gilton and wife Fernette of Thibodaux, La.; sisters, Irene Wade, Barbara Rainey, Emily Gilton, Donna Brown and husband Rev. Eugene, and Helen Moton of Napoleonville and Mary Bell, Alma Mills and Robin Gilton of Labadieville, La.; seven grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev Harry and Fannie Gilton; sisters, Patricia Moore and Robinette Gilton; and grandparents, Johnny Gilton, Maggie Gilton and Emily Moton.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at St. Paul Baptist Church in Napoleonville with the funeral service to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
