Rosetta Barbara “Malou” White, 77, a native of Houma and resident of Terrebonne Parish died Wednesday, June 20, 2007.


She is survived by her son, Tyrone White, Sr. and wife Willie Mae; three daughters, Relina Daniel Malveaux, Bonita White, Bernadette White and her husband Ernest; two brothers, James White Sr. and his wife Audry; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Eunice Ruffin White, Sr., one son, Marlon Charles White; grandparents, Nathan Ruffin and Julia Gates Ruffin.

Rosetta was a devout Baptist and a member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church. She was a member of United Workman, Sunflower Chapter 205 and served as an usher for Beautiful Zion Baptist Church. She was a Foster Grandparent for Catholic Social Services and she enjoyed Cooking, fishing and interacting with people.

Visitation is Friday, June 29, 2007 from 10:00am until 12:30pm, with the funeral to follow at 1:00pm at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Houma. She will be buried at Deweyville Cemetery.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
