Rosie Galliano Terrebonne, 87, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010.


Mrs. Terrebonne loved to carve wood. She was the owner and operator of the Galliano Twist and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.


She is survived by her son, Donald (Robin) Terrebonne; daughters, Joyce Mayet and Lilly (Jacques) Guidry; brother, Juan Galliano; daughter-in-law, Carol Terrebonne; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Terrebonne; parents, Antoine and Myrie Guidry Galliano; son, Ray Terrebonne; son-in-law, Louis Mayet; brothers, Chris, Paris, Antoine Jr., Salvador and Moise Galliano; and sisters, Antoinia Rousse, Vivian Autin, Crestia Kiff, Liza Kiff, Oiesia Visier, Daisy Autin, Heneritta Esponge and Rosa Galliano.

She is buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
